Behavior & Compatibility

Blue Diamond Neon Tetras are peaceful schooling fish that thrive in groups of 6 or more. They generally inhabit the top and middle levels of the water column, though they will explore the lower regions while feeding.

They do well with other small, non-aggressive species and can coexist with most peaceful invertebrates. Adult dwarf shrimp are usually safe, though small shrimp fry may be eaten.
