Crafted from high-quality materials and utilizing advanced technology, the Aquario Neo Plants Tab collection is designed to support and enhance plant growth in your aquarium. These specialized tabs cater to the unique nutritional needs of various aquatic plants, providing them with the nutrients they need to thrive.
Aquarists can choose from a range of tabs based on the specific requirements of their plants. Designed for slow-release, the Aquario Neo Plants Tabs allow plants to absorb nutrients gradually while helping to prevent the growth of unwanted algae.
The Aquario Neo SOLID fertilizer is specifically formulated for aquarium plants in setups that do not incorporate a CO2 system. When used as directed, this plant fertilizer effectively supplies essential nutrients such as nitrogen, potassium, and phosphate through the plants' root systems. It's especially suitable for tanks with substrates that are low in nutrients.
Slow-release formulation for effective nutrient absorption by plant roots.
Helps to prevent algae growth, ensuring a healthy aquatic ecosystem.
Ideal for use in tanks with low-nutrient substrates or no CO2 system.

Explore our range of plant tabs to find the perfect match for your aquarium setup. Whether you’re starting with a nutrient-poor substrate or need to enhance your plant growth, we have a tab to suit your needs.
Plant Tab Type | Ingredients | Effect | When to Use |
---|---|---|---|
TAB 1 | Nitrogen, Phosphoric Acid, Potassium (Chemical Fertilizer) | Promotes rapid growth, addresses nutrient deficiencies | When there is a shortage of a specific nutrient, e.g., phosphate deficiency or growing red aquarium plants |
K (Potassium) | Potassium (Chemical Fertilizer) | Promotes photosynthesis and healthy plant development | When holes appear in old leaves, indicating potassium deficiency |
Fe (Iron) | Iron (Chemical Fertilizer) | Improves color enhancement, especially for red plants | When new leaves show chlorosis (yellowing), particularly in red aquarium plants |
St. Long (Organic Fertilizer) | Organic compounds for slow-release fertilization | Provides long-lasting nutrition for heavy root feeders and rescapes | During tank rescaping or for heavy root feeder plants that need consistent nourishment |
Solid No CO2 | Specialized nutrient blend | Activates the substrate and maximizes nutrient absorption | In tanks without CO2 systems, for better nutrient absorption from the substrate |
To determine which Aquario Neo Plants Tab to use for your planted aquarium, consider the following guidelines based on specific plant deficiencies and needs:
Phosphate Deficiency:
Symptoms: Red leaves turning green or old leaves melting away.
Recommended Tab: Use Tab 1 to address phosphate deficiency and promote healthy plant growth.
Potassium Deficiency:
Symptoms: Holes appearing in old leaves.
Recommended Tabs: Use Tab 1 as a general root tab, and supplement with Tab K for potassium-specific support.
Iron Deficiency:
Symptoms: New leaves lack color or turn white; red plants may not show the desired color intensity.
Recommended Tab: Use Tab Fe to address iron deficiency and enhance color development in plants.
Calcium Deficiency:
Symptoms: Abnormal growth in new plant shoots.
Recommended Tab: Use Tab St. Long to provide long-lasting, slow-release nutrients, supporting healthy root growth and overall plant vitality.
Tab 1 can serve as a comprehensive root fertilizer and should be used regularly. It can be supplemented with Tab K or Tab Fe, depending on the specific needs of your plants.
For aquariums that have been established for over a year, consider using Tab St. Long as a long-term solution, with additional supplementation as necessary.
Tab Lifespan: Root tabs typically last approximately 2 months, depending on aquarium size, plant type, and tank setup. Regular replenishment ensures continuous nourishment and promotes healthy, thriving plants in your aquarium.
